Using Metronome Ultra
A metronome and practice tracker for guitarists and other musicians, with flexible meters, beat subdivisions, tempo training, setlists, private sheet music attachments, and practice insights.
Getting Started
- Open the Metronome tab, choose a BPM, time signature, subdivision, and sound, then start playback.
- To attach your own score, add or edit a song and choose PDF or image files from Photos or Files. The attachments upload when you save the song.
- After the setlist synchronizes through iCloud, you can open uploaded sheet music on your other devices.
- To review cross-device changes, open Settings and preview the iCloud differences before choosing which version to keep.

Which data synchronizes through iCloud?
The app synchronizes setlists, per-song practice settings, practice records, and practice goals through iCloud. Sheet music files are stored by the developer's private attachment service, while their references synchronize with the setlist. Themes, metronome settings, and trainer settings remain on the device.
Does the app provide or publish sheet music?
No. The app does not provide a public score library, search, or sharing. Only PDF or image files that you select are uploaded to the private attachment service. Files use random addresses, and the app reads them through references saved with your setlist.
How do I delete uploaded sheet music?
Remove the attachment while editing its song, or delete the corresponding song or setlist. For newly uploaded files, the app uses a deletion credential stored with your data to request removal from the server. Contact support if you need further help.
How do I make every beat use the same sound?
Open Settings and turn off First Beat Accent. All non-muted main beats will then use the same sound and volume.
How do I switch languages?
Open the language section in Settings and choose Chinese or English. Your selection is saved on the device.
Why can Bluetooth audio feel delayed?
Bluetooth audio has inherent latency. For lower latency, use the device speaker or wired headphones.
